Joe joined TWO PLUS TWO in 2023

Joe’s Aim: Joe is looking to develop his quantity surveying and commercial management skills on a wide range of projects. Joe’s ambition is to undertake his APC and gain RICS chartered membership.

Joe graduated from Newcastle University in 2019 with a BA in Urban Planning. He then worked as a Town Planner for a Local Government Authority, where he discovered that his skills and aspirations were better suited to a career in construction.

As such, Joe opted to undertake an MSc in Quantity Surveying at Northumbria University, which he successfully completed in November 2022. Whilst studying, Joe began his construction career as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a specialist electrical subcontractor, working on HV & LV electrical projects.

He is now focused on developing his knowledge and understanding of wider construction practices under the guidance of the TWO PLUS TWO team.

Joe has recently become a first time father to twin girls. When he manages to get away from play group, Joe is likely to be found at Whickham Golf Club, hiking along the Derwent Valley or cheering on Newcastle United.
