Ken retired from his post as Commercial Director with a £1.5billion national Infrastructure provider at the end of 2017 and joined Two Plus Two as a Non-Executive Director. In addition to 50 years of experience in running all forms of major construction disputes, involving Adjudication, Arbitration, Litigation, Mediation and Expert Determination, Ken brings a wealth of Major Contractor business knowledge and commercial management to the Two Plus Two crew.

Ken began his career in Quantity Surveying in 1966 and has lived and breathed construction ever since.

Having had an involvement in most types of construction project, from major road and bridge schemes, both urban and rural, to rivers and canals, dockyards and tidal water projects, process plants, water treatment and rail projects, to industrial and commercial buildings and luxury hotels, he is ideally qualified to offer practical advice to the Board.

He champions proactive record keeping and accurate performance and contract status reporting, which he will tell you are key to a successful project.

A founder member and  the first Secretary of the Adjudication Society, Ken also sat on the Overseas Personnel Discussion Group, and the Export Group for Construction, when the Managing Director of the International arm of a major UK construction business for whom he set up companies in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Ghana, Russia, Azerbaijan and the Falkland Islands.

Away from work, Ken watches rugby, has a keen interest in all things motor cars and likes to spend time in his garden.
