Olivia joined TWO PLUS TWO as a graduate in 2015 and has since progressed to Commercial Manager.

Olivia’s goal: To excel in all areas of dispute resolution, encourage better contract management on construction projects, and to promote the advancement of women in construction careers to build an equitable and inspiring industry.

Olivia studied Law at Newcastle University and soon realised there was a significant crossover between the legal and construction worlds. Olivia strengthened her knowledge by completing an MSc in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying and has since gained experience on a broad range of large-scale infrastructure projects, both from a quantity surveying and dispute resolution perspective.

Due to her background, Olivia is experienced in contract interpretation and legal analysis, which is crucial to a successful project. Olivia has furthered her interest in dispute resolution by achieving membership to the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, specialising in adjudication.

Olivia has a keen interest in promoting the advancement of women in the construction industry. She is a mentor for young women embarking on construction careers, and visits schools to deliver training as part of the National Association of Women in Construction.

Outside of work, Olivia is a busy Mum to her two small children who she adores, and can most often be found in a soft play, play park, or ideally, on an aeroplane to an exotic destination (with a kids club).
