Peter’s Mission: With over 32 years of experience in the construction industry and Peter would like to use that knowledge to inspire and mentor the next generation of Quantity Surveyors in an honest and professional manner.
Peter started work in 1989 and has been fortunate to be involved in a variety of different construction sectors including major civils, heavy and light rail, utilities and Ministry of Defence housing. He developed his problem-solving skills while working with incredible teams to complete technical projects involving unique issues and logistics, from 19-day rail blockades to the protester “Swampy” and his friends on Twyford Down. Peter joined TWO PLUS TWO to continue to learn from this progressive collective and share his knowledge and experience with others starting out in the industry.
Peter has always been driven to leave a positive impression on others. This self-determination along with his passion for working hard has inspired Peter in his mentoring of numerous people in his time, some of which have gone on to have sparkling careers.
Peter thrives on solving problems and helping people; whether it is doing the best possible job at work, raising money for charity, maintenance at the local park, helping vulnerable people in his community to the maintenance of a neighbour’s back-garden. Most of all, he enjoys rolling-up his sleeves and getting his hands dirty to fix something and more simply to complete some good honest graft.
In his spare time, Peter is dedicated to his family and is a big fan of the outdoors including walking, shooting, mechanical engineering and motorcycling. During these trying times, Peter is also part of the NHS Volunteer Responders which also involves helping the senior and vulnerable members of his community.
