Shea is a Quantity Surveyor with five years’ experience delivering projects across bridges, highways, energy, and within the public sector throughout the North East and North West of England. He graduated from the University of Salford with a first-class degree, finished top of his class in Construction Economics, and received the BAM Nuttall Award for Construction Economics.
His project involvement spans the full life cycle, from early design stages through to final account. He has managed complex work packages, prepared detailed scopes, procured and negotiated subcontracts, produced cost forecasts and CVRs, submitted contractual and legal claims, and delivered clear and consistent commercial reporting. Over the next 12 months, he aims to achieve chartership with CICES.
Outside of construction, Shea is committed to maintaining his fitness at the gym. Next year, he is preparing for Tough Mudder, working on improving his surfing skills, and hoping to watch Newcastle lift another trophy.
