JP has been a consultant with TWO PLUS TWO since 2014.

JP’s goal: to ensure TWO PLUS TWO provide a reliable, first class service to all our clients and to help develop the next generation of surveyors at TWO PLUS TWO.

JP began his surveying career working for main contractors in house building, commercial building and fit-out. After completing two masters degrees during this period, he joined TWO PLUS TWO, where he has broadened his construction experience and also completed further study. He is a Fellow of the CIArb, a member of CICES and he is on the RICS register of expert witnesses.

JP, while working for TWO PLUS TWO, has advised and assisted clients on various claims and disputes primarily in civil engineering fields such as power, highways, rail and water. He has also handled claims and disputes in petrochemical works and domestic and commercial building works. He is well practised in several of the standard form contracts and has negotiated and drafted amendments in NEC3 and JCT contracts as well as bespoke contracts.

JP has a special interest in adjudication and last year he successfully completed the CIArb Adjudication Decision Writing course, with a view to becoming an adjudicator.

In his spare time JP enjoys watching sport and football in particular. He is a terribly keen golfer (emphasis on the terrible) and still attempts to play 5 a side whenever possible.
